Burlington, Vermont 2022 — Photography Gallery

I never really had a true reason to be so excited to visit, but man, I sure was excited to be making a trip to Burlington, Vermont. Maybe it was the mountains, maybe it was the proximity to Canada, or maybe it was something else, but Burlington was a city that I was excited to visit.

We drove to Burlington from Warrensburg, New York (the Lake George area). So the drive was about 2 hours, maybe a little less. Burlington sits on the massive Lake Champlain, so there are only a few options to cross the lake and all of them are on the southern portion of the lake. The interstate goes up from the New York side which could have been quicker, but then we would have had to take a ferry across. The ferry takes longer than you would think and then operating times come into play as well. The route from the Vermont side is a lot of different roads that wind and weave so it’s slower, but it was still beautiful.

This city is unlike any other that I have ever been to. It’s beautiful and unique, my favorite part was the big shopping strip or district. The marina and water are a stunning view as well, you’re able to look across the lake to the mountains of New York.

Have you been to Burlington? What are your thoughts on this city? When did you go? Do you have any recommendations? Do you want a print of any of these images?
