2023 Year In Review & Looking Forward To 2024
Looking Back At 2023
2023 was quite an eventful year for me. It was the “second leg” of Bailey and I living full-time on the road in a travel trailer RV. We made it to a bunch of states that neither of us had been to before, and a new Canadian province too. So many new experiences were marked off our bucket lists this past year.
In 2022 we spent roughly 6 months on the road, whereas in 2023 we spent closer to 9 months. We began by heading straight south 10 hours to eastern Texas, and then made our way east along the southern states to Florida, before heading up the east coast to Maine.
Where Did We Go?
We left on January 1st and returned to Nebraska on September 11th. Originally, we planned to be out on the road until October, but a few things pushed us to head back to Nebraska a little early. We made it to 29 states and 2 provinces, staying at 13 campgrounds, and attending 15 hockey games and 3 Broadway shows.

Looking Ahead To 2024
It’s Going To Be A Good Year
2024 will start with a new motto to attempt to live by. In the past, I’ve been pretty disappointed in myself, rushing projects and failing to focus on the quality of the work that I’m doing. So, this year, I will be focusing on Quality over Quantity. I’m going to make a point to take my time on projects, and while that may extend my projects’ publish date, I believe that it will be worth it. My hope is that, by doing so, more visitors will enjoy my content and published projects published.
I Have A Lot Of Stories To Tell
As you might expect, living full-time on the road in the past year and a half, I have a ton of experiences and stories that I am excited to tell. I hope to tell these stories in a variety of ways, but one of the most common outlets will be articles/blog posts here on my website. I have a multitude of photographs to help paint a better picture for readers.
