Take The Trip To Milwaukee, Wisconsin

If I had listened to what I was told by a few people prior to my trip, I wouldn’t have gone to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been a firm believer in experiences firsthand for as long as I can remember. The comments made may have lessened my expectations prior to our trip, but I sure am glad I went to experience this city for myself.

Bailey and I took Maxwell to Milwaukee to visit Bailey’s cousin who was living there at the time. Like we have done multiple times now, we drove overnight to our destination after working a full-day shift at work. We were completely exhausted by the time we arrived. I should also mention that we visited Milwaukee in September of 2020, so a good majority of businesses were operating under restrictions set during the pandemic.

Bailey and I had our sights set on Lake Michigan first and foremost. Ever since our first experience with the Great Lakes of North America, we’ve been obsessed with each chance we get to visit again. We had plans of finding all Milwaukee had to offer with Lake Michigan. Along the way, we found some great coffee, of course.

Bailey’s cousin had told us that we had to experience a Friday Fish Fry, and that’s what we did. We did so at a brewery, shocking, I know, Milwaukee isn’t much of a beer city (that’s sarcasm for those that didn’t catch on). The food was excellent, the atmosphere was awesome, and the beer was fantastic.

We spent a morning walking along the Milwaukee River to the pedestrian bridge was a beautiful walk. The scenery of the area reminded me so much of my favorite video game—soon to be tv series–The Last Of Us. I probably annoyed Bailey and her cousin with how many times I mentioned this statement.

Milwaukee has a beautiful art museum that sits on the shore of Lake Michigan. It not only has an incredible view but it provides an incredible view as well. The architecture of the museum is stunning and unique, it gives the shoreline additional beauty.

This was just some of our experience in this amazing city, the best I can do is recommend that you go visit! Take a look at my photographs from the adventure below. Have any questions, contact me here. Connect with me on social media via the icons below.
