It's The Little Things That Count In Times Of Trouble — OPPD Arboretum March 2020

It’s no secret that times are a little rough right now. The entire world is going through it all together as well. To keep in a happy place and to keep sane, we need to appreciate the little things.

For me the little things include the time shared with loved ones. This weekend Bailey and I decided that it would be good for us and our dog, Maxwell, to get him outside for a walk. For the past year, we’ve lived right across the street from the OPPD Arboretum and still hadn’t actually visited it. This was the perfect opportunity to finally see it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Arboretum. I mean, I’d seen pictures of the place on Google, but sometimes pictures can be difficult to gauge. It turned out to be much bigger than I expected and very, very beautiful. The place seems to be well cared for and has some really cool features to it. The OPPD Arboretum is definitely near the top of the list for places to take portrait photography.

It wasn’t just me that really, really enjoyed exploring the OPPD Arboretum. Bailey and Maxwell joined me in my trip to the arboretum. We walked most of the park and just enjoyed the nice weather that was given to us. Maxwell absolutely loved being out of the apartment and able to use a lot of the energy that he has everyday.

The pictures turned out amazing! I love that I was able to capture a fall look with these photos naturally. Maxwell always takes great pictures when he’s as happy as he was during this adventure. See the full day in the video below.
